Join the BViA on Tues., Jan. 14th, for our first membership luncheon of 2014. Representatives from the KCMO Planning Dept. will give us an update on projects in the Blue Valley area and provide information regarding improvements in the permitting process.

- BViA has just rolled out a new and improved website. Check it out: www.bvia.org. You will find a link to report unmaintained properties in our area on the homepage; updates on the I-70/Manchester project (also on homepage); information on membership and much more!
- Pre-pay for 2014 BViA Luncheons and SAVE! Pre-pay for all six BViA luncheons in January and the cost per luncheon is only $18! The cost per luncheon paid at the door will remain $20/pp. However, if you haven't paid in advance and don't pay at the door, the new BViA invoice policy is a charge of $25/luncheon to be invoiced after the fact. - Mark your calendars for the February membership meeting to be held on Tues., Feb. 11th at V's Restaurant. The US Army Corps of Engineers and KCMO Waterways Division will offer an update on Blue River projects.

Our friends at the KCPD have reported increased incidences of tractor trailers getting stuck under the railroad bridge on Independence Ave. Please tell your truck carriers to avoid this bridge as clearance is only 12-feet. |
