I am writing to share that as of January 21, 2013, I will be leaving my position as Executive Director at Community Alliance of Lane County. I will be pursuing new challenges as part of the marketing department at Mountain Rose Herbs-a local green business committed to organic agriculture and sustainable business practices.
I will be continuing my unflagging support of CALC and our work to promote public policies based on social, racial and economic justice in other capacities; and know that I am leaving the directorship with the organization in a strong position, with good momentum toward the future. While I will miss coming to work every day to tackle the big challenges of bigotry, racism, militarism, homophobia and homelessness with devoted and energetic staff and volunteers, I will continue to wear my social justice hat and support the mission of this organization in other endeavors.
As CALC moves into its next incarnation, please continue your involvement and support. I will be working with CALC for the remainder of 2013 on development and fundraising.
