Greetings!
Many of us in the community are aware of recent changes at the University of Oregon's Office of Equity and Inclusion. There are many questions about how this restructuring will affect minority students and why there weren't more diverse voices invited to weigh-in before this decision was made.
CALC encourages concerned individuals to get informed and speak out! The University is holding three town hall meetings for this purpose.
The first of the town hall meetings will be from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9, (unfortunately we are a little late) in the EMU's Oak Room. The second will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 10, in the EMU's Board Room. The third will be from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, in the EMU's Rogue Room.
