Staffing Changes
The 2016-17 School Year is shaping up to have some exciting changes in our faculty and staff. We'd like to announce the following changes:
  • Mr. Dave Raym has been appointed the Athletic Director for John Carroll High School. As the school and the church will slowly centralize many of its administrative areas to improve collaboration, manage current and future growth, and continue improving efficiency, Mrs. Theresa Rondeau will transition to our new Finance Director.
  • Mrs. Cindy Noelke will be teaching middle school science next year. Mrs. Noelke has been teaching at St. Anastasia for 13 years and was a teacher assistant for 2 years prior to teaching first grade. She has always had a passion for science and has been a registered nurse working in the Emergency Room, full-time and part-time, for the past 33 years. Mrs. Noelke also taught in the Nursing program at IRSC for four years. She has earned a BS Degree in Nursing and a Masters Degree in Education with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction. She has multiple certifications including grades K-6 and Exceptional Student Education K-12.
  • Mrs. Jenna Crull will be teaching 1st grade next year. She taught 1st grade for nine years and spent two years as a sixth grade intervention specialist in Ohio. She moved to Florida last year and has enrolled her two children Lillian (almost 5 yrs. old) and Nick (8 yrs. old) at St. Anastasia. Mrs. Crull has been a fantastic substitute teacher this year at St. Anastasia, and has assisted with student assessment and tutoring as well. Please make her feel welcomed in her new role.
  • Mrs. Stacey Garcia will move to Kindergarten as Mrs. Picano's assistant.
  • Mrs. Christine Tannone will move to Pre-K 3 as Mrs. Brown's assistant.
  • Mrs. Becky Springsteen will be moving to Middle School Language Arts and will be our Language Arts Department Chair.
  • Mrs. Keri Barton will teach 5th grade.
  • Mrs. Linda Schildwachter will return to 2nd grade next year.
  • Mrs. Dana Fischbeck will move to the Enrollment Coordinator position.
  • Mrs. Calise Munne has accepted the middle school Social Studies position for next year. Mrs. Munne has been teaching Social Studies to 7th grade students at Southern Oaks Middle School. She has also taught at St. Andrews Academy. Mrs. Munne has been a substitute at St. Anastasia from 2012-2013. She was the Department Chair for the Civics teachers at Southern Oaks and brings innovative and creative teaching tools with her to this position. She is the mother of two children (Carter and Jace) who will be joining us in Kindergarten and 1st grade next year.
Job Opportunities
Saint Anastasia School is actively searching for two 4th Grade Teachers. Applicants must be ready and willing to teach in an environment where academics and teaching the Catholic Faith go hand in hand. We are looking for dynamic teachers with a passion for teaching! Please send a letter of interest and a current resume to our Principal, Dr. Hoeffner or via email at Khoeffner@saintanastasiaschool.org.
Retirement News
Recently we celebrated our End of the Year faculty and staff luncheon. We sadly bid farewell to a few of our staff members after the lunch. Congratulations to Mrs. Barbara D'Amato who retired after teaching at St. Anastasia for 24 years; Mr. Wayne Hillard who taught band for 19 years; Mrs. Dolores Ustinowich who was our Pre-K 3 assistant for 16 years and Ms. Jennifer Miret who has been working at St. Anastasia for 13 years most recently serving as our Enrollment Coordinator. Not pictured, but celebrated nonetheless, Mrs. Rose Thomas who served as one of our Pre-K teachers for 22 years! We wish them well as they all move on to the next phases of their lives!

Where in the World is St. A's?

It's summertime and we want to know: "Where in the World is St. A's?" Take a photo when you are on vacation or even a "stay-cation" with your St. A's magnet, a St. A's or Rams t-shirt or even a St. A's sign, and then e-mail it to Mrs. Trabulsy at ltrabulsy@saintanastasiaschool.org or post it to our Facebook Page. Make sure the picture features something about St. Anastasia! We look forward to sharing in your adventures this summer!

St. A's was spotted at Animal Kingdom in Orlando and the Downtown Aquarium in Houston, Texas! Where else will St. A's go this summer?
