Technology News
Message from Mr. Takahashi
Greetings parents!

As you may already know, St. Anastasia School and a Google development team have been creating e-portfolios and an e-portfolio app for parents, teachers, students and administrators. The student e-portfolios will hold valuable information about your child and his/her academic journey. We are very excited to announce that the portfolios are ready for you to access and utilize!

The e-portfolio app allows different levels of access based on who is viewing it. Parents will have an individual login created for them in order to access their child's portfolio. When you log in, you will be able to view all information that has been added by students, teachers, and administrators regarding your child.

The e-portfolios will be used to store everything from student created works to information that is currently housed in their cumulative folders. As a parent you will be able to add pictures and documents, as well as create goals for your child. The pictures and documents stored here are meant to serve as a snapshot into who your child is beyond the grades in the grade book and eventually serve as documentation for how your child has developed as a whole person.

We invite you to come to the Media Center any day between 8:00-4:00 from now until the end of the school year to meet with Mr. Takahashi and to create your parent account. This short meeting will take about 10 minutes. If you would like to schedule a specific time with Mr. Takahashi, please e-mail him at ktakahashi@saintanastasiaschool.org

Thank you for your interest and participation in this exciting advancement for the students of St. Anastasia School!

Through effective and innovative instruction, a balanced and healthy lifestyle, and active participation in the Sacramental life of the church, we work together with our families to develop foundations on which our children can build their lives.
