Internet Safety
Beginning in March, Mrs. O'Loughlin and our St. Lucie County Sheriff's Resource Officer Deputy Loupe will begin a series of talks with our students regarding Internet Safety. We encourage our parents to review the following Safety Tips that we will share in the classrooms. As adults, we can model good behavior to show children how we can all make the Internet a more positive place for us to communicate and learn. Click here for details.

St. Anastasia 90th Anniversary Playground Fundraising Underway
As you may know, St. Anastasia Catholic School is raising money to build a new 90th Anniversary Playground. Educators and parents agree that unstructured, outdoor playtime helps children grow physically, emotionally, socially and cognitively with benefits that last a lifetime. Our new playground will modernize and update the current playground to include durable and safe equipment on soft, long-lasting turf all under a shade structure.
Detailed information was sent home recently. Please see the letter from St. Anastasia parent, Mrs. Amber Rankin, and consider helping us with this initiative. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Hoeffner at khoeffner@saintanastasiaschool.org. If you did not receive a brochure and letter, please click here for details.
Below are samples of the flooring we are hoping to create for the playground. These photos are a representation of what can be done with the new playground. |

As part of their Lenten service project, the first graders toured Publix last week and purchased food with their own money for St. Vincent de Paul. They were able to learn about the different departments at the store. Then they each purchased their own items for the donation. Great job, first grade!
