Happy Thanksgiving!
For the many gifts He has given, we give thanks. A message from Dr. Hoeffner, Principal
Happy Thanksgiving! As the administration, faculty, and staff at St. Anastasia prepare for our thanksgiving feasts, we will be thanking God for many things. We are especially thankful to you for sharing your lives with us. Your children are truly miracles!
As I processed with the crowd of believers at our Christ the King celebration this past weekend, a couple of parents who I was walking with were reflecting upon the Syrian refugees and their daunting journey to a destination unknown. As we encountered our neighborhood with joyful waves, song and prayers, we considered how it must feel to completely surrender our control over to God. We recognized how we take for granted the security of a home, a warm meal, and the freedom to choose our destiny.
This Thanksgiving, please remind each other of the simple joys and the many gifts that God has given to us. It is in our thanksgiving, in our humble surrender to God, that we will find real truth, inner peace, and abundant joy.
May God bless your family gatherings with an awareness of Him.

Santa's Christmas Corner is almost here!
We need volunteers. Please click here to sign up!

Attention parents:
SANTA'S CHRISTMAS CORNER
DECEMBER 1-3, 2015
Each year the PTO sponsors Santa's Christmas Corner. It will be held in Room 211 in the Media Center. This traditional program enables children to do their holiday shopping "on their own" under the supervision of parent volunteers. Please emphasize to your child that this is not an opportunity to shop for himself or herself. Merchandise is priced from $1 to $12.
On November 19th, we sent home a "shopping list" for students in grades Pre-K through 3. Please indicate on the "Shopping List" for whom your child will be shopping and the amount to be spent. This will be a big help for the parent volunteers who will be at Santa's Christmas Corner to assist the students. Please place cash or check in an envelope and attach it to the Shopping List.
To see when your child's class is shopping, click here.
