Students in Mrs. Smith's kindergarten class enjoyed their first School Family Celebration lunch in the classroom on Wednesday. They earned the celebration lunch because they filled up the classroom jar of Helpful Hearts. When the class earns a compliment from another teacher or grown up, helps the teacher, works cooperatively, etc., they get a scoop or two of hearts poured into the jar. When they reach the line, they earn a school family celebration lunch. They get to watch a movie and enjoy their lunch in the classroom.
Additionally, they are proud to present their brand new classroom promises the children created as a group. These are the promises they thought they should make to help them have a peaceful classroom. They did a great job! |
