First Grade News
|
Our first graders have adopted Food For The Poor Inc. as their community service project. They learned about the organization last month and recently held a "bake sale" to raise funds for the group. The students baked their own apple muffins and sold them during lunch. They raised $103 and continue to raise funds with their in-class drive. Great job, first grade!

Seventh Grade News
|
Congratulations to these twelve 7th graders who have qualified to participate in the Duke University Talent Identification Program (TIP)!
Students qualify for the program if they achieve a score at or above the 95th percentile on a recent grade-level standardized achievement test. (At St. Anastasia, this is the IOWA test.) After a student qualifies, the Duke TIP educators help guide families in determining how advanced that child's academic abilities truly are and what level of educational challenge is appropriate for them.
It is an honor and to qualify for this program and we applaud our students' achievements! Way to go!
