Dear Reader,

What a fun holiday season we've been having. Nothing delights us more than matching up books with the right people and this is a great time for that. Even when you had no clue what the recipient read, we were sure we found exactly the right item!

Now, as we head into a new year, we are clearing out space so you should come by to see what we've marked down.

All calendars, holiday cards and holiday books are 40% off! This will be true for a limited time so come soon. (Psst! Hey teachers- the books are good ones!)

Remember that cool book tree we built in the front window? We're going to dismantle that on Sunday. If you were one of the folks who entered a guess as to how many books there were in it, come by and choose a book from it on us.

Even if you weren't, come on by and get a present from us anyway. There were some gems in there!

Also you can meet Rose Arellano, our new Sunday bookseller. She worked the weekend of Christmas and has found out just how fun our customers are!

We will be closing early on New Year's Eve, Monday the 31st at 4pm. We have a lot of end of year things to do, and yes, parties to prepare for. We'll be closed on New Year's Day because of all that prep and resting.

Regular hours resume on Wednesday.

 Happy Reading,

 Luan
