Dear Reader,

How's your list coming along? We've been recommending a lot of books and making lots of people happy with some unique choices. What can we find for you?

Don't forget we have the Kobo Glo and Kobo Mini reader in stock now. Take a look at the Kobo App that you can download for free to any of your devices that aren't Kindles. They have an amazing catalog of books and we're happy to be a vendor. Our link should be live shortly on the website. In the meantime, go look for yourself. I am a traditional book reader first and foremost, but for those of you who are bi-libro, we strive to have a great option for you.

The Laurel Holiday Stroll is Saturday night from 6 to 8pm. Donate new toys, books, pet supplies or a new or gently used coat at Marquardt Realty and get a stamp that will entitle you to goodies all along the boulevard. $1 samples at restaurants!

Here we'll give you half off on any calendar in stock. We also will show you our selection of books at 30% off and entice you with snacks and things. Come and be merry.

With the tragic events of today, we need to build community every possible way we can. Please connect with your neighbors and community any chance you get and invite our young people along. It's the only way to create a peaceful and respectful future.

 And now, books.

 Happy Reading,

 Luan
