Yit'ga'dal v'yit'kadesh sh'mei rabbah....

It is a dark day for all the world when we learn of the loss of innocent lives.   The breath we held for almost three weeks has turned to tears with the recently discovered and senseless murders of Gilad Shaar, Naftali Frenkel, and Eyal Yifrach.  Our hearts go out their families, loved ones and K'lal Yis'ra'el, the Jewish community.

May it be our steadfast mission to not only pray for peace between people but to do everything within our power to work against violence, hatred and cruelty. Help us to see the Divine with all human beings and to strive for the day, as envisioned by the prophet, when the lion will lay down with the lamb.

Oseh Shalom bimromav hu ya'aseh Shalom, aleinu v'al kol Yis'ra'el v'im'ru Amen...

May the source of peace send comfort to all who mourn, and may the peace which reigns in the high heaven, descend upon Israel and the all the world, and let us say Amen.
