"I would very much like to send my warmest thanks and regards to you all. Kayak fishing gave me a chance to not just relax but have a moment of peace that I have not felt in a very long time. It was as if I found something that I had been looking for my whole life. God Bless you all." Will, Purple Heart Recipient
September has arrived and Giving Day is the 18th when you can give a warrior the peace that Will describes!
On that day, donations of $25 and more will be multiplied when made through the link below.
Thanks to YOU, our HOW Friends, and the 969+ Volunteers that bring the HOW program to warriors in communities across the U.S., 2,165 warriors and their families have experienced the healing benefits of kayak fishing in 2014 through July. Since 2007, a total of 11,940 warriors & family members have benefited.
Your financial contributions make it possible for warriors to participate at no cost to them or their families. You may specify a chapter to receive your donation by writing the name in the message field. Chapters are 100% volunteers which means 100% of your donation goes to putting vets in kayaks.
Take action today: - Put Giving Day on your calendar: Sept. 18th, 6:00am-midnight CST,
- On that day, go to https://northtexasgiving.s3.amazonaws.com/npo134367788.html,
- Donate $25 or more and your gift will be multiplied with funds from the Communities Foundation of Texas.

Your support will bring the therapeutic benefits of kayak fishing to more warriors in more locations as we expand our outreach. The goal is to raise $25,000 the one day - that's 1,000 people giving $25 to give 250+ warriors a sense of peace. You can also help us today by: - Forwarding this email to your networks, asking them to also donate $25 online to help warriors who have given to ensure our freedom.
- Follow Heroes on the Water on Facebook and Twitter to watch the progress as our donors contribute towards the goal.
