School of Prayer
Reaches an All-Time Record
Wow! What a School of Prayer! One hundred and eighty seven people crowded into the Outback for the fall School of Prayer in Gilbert, Sunday, September 22. This is a record attendance for a School of Prayer and displays a desire by many to learn to pray better.
Here's what people who participated said:
"It was awesome!"
"Thanks for inviting other churches!"
"I feel so much stronger in prayer."
"Can you do these more often?"
"I never knew you could have prayer and fun in the same sentence."
The featured speaker this time was Andrew D. from the Middle East who described his journey of prayer. Though his work in prayer for some time was not effective, he kept trying hard and was patient. He tried all the methods and tricks, but nothing worked. After decades, he finally decided to ask God how to do the work. The rest is history. His work blossomed, and he has been able to start houses of prayer in many places in the Middle East that would appear impenetrable.

Time Alone with God?
Jesus, Moses, and countless others have in the Bible set aside time to be alone with God. They did so because they believed that it was valuable.
Mark 1:35 says "Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed." Have you set aside a special time in which you set out to seek God in prayer at a specific time and has God made Himself known to you in ways you didn't expect?
In our culture we sometimes feel like prayer is a luxury that we would love to take part in if we just had the time. Here is your chance and the weather is perfect.
