THANK YOU

Thank you for your  support of the Youth's Sock Drive. We collected 260 pairs of socks for the Church of Common Ground's Foot Clinic. The older Youth Group will be delivering the socks when we participate in their worship service on Sunday, May 4, 2014.  Our date was changed because of a scheduling error on their part.  We will also be preparing and distributing sack lunches at that time.

CHANGE IN SUNDAY SCHOOL TIME

Starting today, April 6, 2014, Sunday School for the Godly Play and both Youth Groups will be held between services. We will meet from 9:15 to 10:15 AM on a weekly basis. Some of our children asked for this change. We hope this return to a weekly class schedule will result in more continuity to the lessons and also allow the children time to fully participate in the weekly Eucharist. If your child needs a ride to church, please respond to the emails that have been sent regarding this issue or email  Marty at Ergosol@aol.com. Thank you.

The Feinstein Challenge

Each year our Stone Mountain Cooperative Ministry participates in the Feinstein Challenge. Cash donations are matched on a percentage basis by The Feinstein Foundation of Rhode Island. So, if you were unable to donate food during the recent ingathering, or would like to do more, please consider writing a check to the Stone Mountain Cooperative Ministry and put it in the offering plate during the remaining Sundays in April. We will forward them to the Co-op. Thank you.

Donation Request

I am a parishioner of St. Michael &All Angels, Lisa King. I am making a journey to Tanzania in May 2014.  I would like to ask for your prayers and blessings as I prepare for this trip. I would like to ask the congregation for a donation of any old cell phones that you have in the junk drawer in your home. I will take these with me to give away.  In countries like Tanzania, cell phones are a premium commodity. I will post more information about my trip and send a link to those interested in my purpose and experience.
