All the women of the church are invited to attend our next meeting and luncheon on January 13th at 12:00 pm in Hensler Hall.  Our guest will be The Reverend Mary Wetzel from the Church of the Common Ground.  Church of the Common Ground seeks to be a pastoral and sacramental presence to those without permanent housing.  Church of the Common Grounds provides support for the spiritual needs of Atlanta's unhoused people.  The church strives to build relationships with those who live on the margins by being a consistent presence on the streets and by creating a worshipful space for housed and unhoused people

Wednesday Healing Service

On Wednesday evenings, Father Paul leads a worship service along with anointing at 5:30 pm in Titus House.  Anointing is a powerful type of prayer.

The basic meaning of the Bible word "anoint" is "to pour on, smear all over or rub into."  In the Old Testament, someone who was anointed by God for special service to God had oil poured or smeared on him.

You are invited to join us when we resume meeting on January 16, 2013.

Greetings!

I will be out of the parish from December 26th until January 11th.  Please call Leticia Cuence (404-418-2608) for administrative needs.  John Sewak Ray (770-729-0331) is on call for pastoral care needs.

Please pray for Bev and I during this time asking for safe traveling mercies.

Grace & Peace,
