LGO Cafe and the Luggage Room Give Back

COLORING ISN'T JUST FOR KIDS

La Grande Orange Caf and The Luggage Room Pizzeria have created
a unique and fun coloring book for adults and kids of all ages. Adult "coloring books" have become increasingly popular lately as a form of meditation and a creative outlet.

The images were hand drawn by a local artist and The Luggage Room employee, Rachel Fuller and include fun images of the Otis Bar, La Grande Orange Caf, and The Luggage Room. Two dollars from the sale of each book is going back to local Pasadena charity, Five Acres. Coloring books are now on sale at both restaurants.

LGO Hospitality will host a "meet the artist" afternoon at The Luggage Room Pizzeria on Saturday, March 12th, to celebrate the release of the coloring book. Join us from 12pm-5pm for a fun afternoon of coloring and creating. 15% of food sales will go back to Five Acres and the artist will be on hand to sign books, as well as help children enjoy being their own artist.

Pasadena Walk for Kids 2016

WALK FOR KIDS 2016

Pasadena Ronald McDonald Walk for Kids is a 3.7K (2.3 mile) walk that is designed to raise funds and awareness for the services and programs provided by The Pasadena Ronald McDonald House. Hundreds of walkers will stroll a picturesque course, starting and ending at Pasadena's historic Central Park. Walkers come together for a day of fun, food, entertainment and giveaways.

This year's walk is an opportunity to spread awareness and raise dollars that directly support the Pasadena Ronald McDonald House. The Pasadena Ronald McDonald House has welcomed more than 13,000 children and their families through the years.

The Pasadena Ronald McDonald House is dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of children, by providing a "home away from home" for families of seriously-ill children who are receiving care in Southern California. Families receive the added comfort of being surrounded by those who understand and can relate to the ordeal of having an ill child. No eligible family is ever turned away due to inability to pay.

For information on how to register to walk, volunteer, or become a sponsor, please visit: www.walkforkids.org/pasadena
