Old Pasadena Film Festival

The Old Pasadena Film Festival, a month-long, free movie series, returns July 9 - August 1, with twenty-one mostly outdoor screenings. This annual summer film program offers movie lovers an eclectic mix of cinematic treasures, including timeless classics, vintage horror, indie flicks, cult favorites, and more. Locations include historic Central Park, charming One Colorado Courtyard, cozy Distant Lands travel bookstore, and community favorite, Armory Center for the Arts.

Starting at 7:00pm, the Central Park screenings offer you a chance to grab your picnic provisions from one of the many options in Old Pasadena, or from select food trucks, and enjoy ambient music from local DJs before the movies begin. There will be a ballroom dancing demo and mini dance lesson before Strictly Ballroom, and a $250 prize costume contest at the Barbarella showing.
