Most Gracious Heavenly Father,
We come before Your Presence with Thanksgiving
and praise You for the table You have set before us.
As we gather with our family and friends this day
we look upon all the works of Your hands
with hearts that are full and overflowing with gratitude for the bountiful
and infinite blessings which You have so graciously bestowed upon us.
We ask forgiveness that Your ears do not ring with the voice of gratitude
from Your dearly beloved and abundantly blessed children as often as
You so desire and deserve.  You alone are worthy of unending praise
and worship. We ask that You would give us lips that declare of Your majesty,
proclaim Your glory, speak of Your goodness, and share Your love.
  You, O LORD, are good and Your love endures forever;
Your faithfulness continues through all generations.
Lord, we thank You for Your unfailing love and Your wonderful deeds for mankind,
for You satisfy the thirsty and You fill the hungry with good things.
We give You thanks, for You have answered us; You have become our salvation.
This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
You are our God and we will give You thanks.
You are our God, and we will exalt You.
You have turned our wailing into dancing;
You have removed our sackcloth and clothed us with joy;
that our hearts may sing to You and not be silent;
O Lord our God, we will give You thanks forever!
You are our strength and our shield; our heart trusts in You, and we are helped.
Our hearts leap with joy and we will give thanks to You in song.
We will give thanks to You, LORD, because of Your righteousness
and we will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
Great are You Lord and most worthy of praise;
Your greatness no one can fathom.
With all that is within us we bless Your holy name.
You are faithful to all Your promises and loving to all You have made.
You uphold all those who fall and lift up all who are bowed down.
The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food at the proper time.
You open Your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.
You are righteous in all Your ways and loving to all You have made.
You are near to all who call on You, to all who call on You in truth.
Our mouths will speak in praise of the LORD.
Let every creature praise His holy name for ever and ever.
Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ
and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him.
May our lives resound with a continuous anthem of praise, so the whole
world will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD
as the waters cover the sea.
"Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name;
make known among the nations what He has done.
Sing to Him, sing praise to Him; tell of all His wonderful acts.
Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.
Look to the LORD and His strength; seek His face always.
Remember the wonders He has done,
 His miracles and the judgments He pronounced.
Ascribe to the LORD, O families of nations,
ascribe to the LORD glory and strength,
ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name.
Bring an offering and come before Him;
worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness.
Tremble before Him, all the earth!
The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.
Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;
let them say among the nations, "The LORD reigns!"
Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His love endures forever.
Cry out, "Save us, O God our Savior;
gather us and deliver us from the nations,
 that we may give thanks to Your holy name,
that we may glory in Your praise."
Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting.
You are worthy our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for You created all things, and by Your will they were created and have their being.
With thanksgiving and praise we exalt Your holy name, Lord Jesus.
Amen.

Dear Praying Friends,
In this Year of Adoration, as we come before our heavenly Father with thanksgiving for all that He is and for all that He has done, I would like to express my gratitude for your fellowship and friendship as we have journeyed together with prayer and fasting to deepening intimacy with the Lord.  I pray that every step of the way has truly been a feast from the Lord, and that you have been filled to the overflow with the "incomparable riches of His grace;"  for "I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.  I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance of the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe." (Ephesians 1:16-19a)
With gratitude, grace and peace,
Traci Alexander
