WITNESS WHAT GOD CAN DO IN 40 DAYS!

 

40 days is God's redemptive time frame in history.

 

To encourage you with what is possible with God when we are willing to surrender "self" on the altar to soak in His presence, in His Word and in prayer for 40 days, my friends in my home church in Williamsburg have graciously agreed to share their 40 day testimonies on video (the participants in these videos used my first 40 day prayer and fasting devotional journey - EAT at the Table of the King for their first 40 day journey).  

 

If we are willing, God will use 40 days

to transform our life and ministry for His glory.

 

Many of you, who have traveled these journeys with me over the past seven years, have shared similar testimonies of deepening intimacy with the Lord; bearing witness to the sustaining power of God's Holy Word as you learned the discipline of praying and feasting on His Holy Word 3 times a day. My own first 40 day period of consecration with the Lord over 8 years ago was the watershed moment of my Christian walk. God opened my heart to understand His heart in a way I had never known before. He transformed my life, ignited my prayer life, and birthed my ministry. My daily prayer ever since then has been for the Lord to fill me with more of Himself, and allow me the opportunity to share His heart with others so their hearts can be open to more of Him. Believer, there is no greater journey in life than the one that leads us into the extraordinary depths of God's great love. It is a journey we are meant to walk every single day of our life, moment by every precious and painful moment, until we reach our glorious final destination - home with the One our heart loves! I pray you will join us as the Holy Spirit takes us deeper in and higher up these 40 days!

Witness His Presence and Power these 40 days!

 

Whatever may be on your plate between August 27^th and October 5^th cannot compare to the rich sustenance that our Beloved Bridegroom has prepared from His Word for us to partake of. Forty days is a mere tithe of the year - a wonderful offering to the Lord for Him to do something extraordinary in your life! (He is not asking anything from you - He wants to do something for you!) He's not interested in your food, He's interested in you! Don't allow your food or your schedule to stand in your way of participating in this wondrous feast! He is inviting you to just come - bring all your questions, concerns, doubts and fears - and allow Him to replace them with the rich, satisfying, fulfilling morsels of His Holy word. Do not worry about what you will eat - He has prepared your daily bread for these 40 days! Trust Him to open up the Scriptures to you, in a deeply personal way as He did the travelers on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-34), and refresh your spirit and revive your heart with a transforming vision of His majesty. Allow Him the opportunity to use these 40 days to set your heart on fire once again with a passion for Him so your life will become a blazing torch testifying to His glorious light and love for all mankind!

 

"So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord...

But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God,

who has saved us and called us to a holy life -

not because of anything we have done but because of His own purpose and grace.

This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,

but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus,

who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel."
