Day 66
Masterful Hand

Dear Praying Friend,
Some days the sky just takes my breath away as I look with wonder upon the canvas of our Master Artist. Sometimes I feel like He painted this masterpiece just for me, just to astound me. The clouds so perfectly positioned with billowy curves framing a sky painted in the most beautiful shade of blue - a picture of such perfection it is almost too good to be true. I believe He delights when we stop to take notice of His masterful presentations. I pray that we slow down long enough each day to capture these wonderful snapshots of the Lord's artistry - and take a moment to just stand in awe of the beauty and goodness that is constantly surrounding us.
As we meditate on Psalm 33: 6-9 today, we continue to praise God for His Word. This time we focus on His creative word with which He spoke the universe into existence and placed everything in its perfect position. Our God is a God of details and everything is perfectly planned and placed to proclaim His majesty, to speak of His unfailing love for His creation, and to accomplish His plans. As we journey through this psalm we see the Lord setting the stage for His people to place their trust in Him because He is the Creator, Provider, Protector, Deliverer, and King! May we daily capture the tiny brush strokes of the Lord's Masterful plan coming together as our eyes are opened to greater understanding through His Word.

Praise the LORD from the heavens,
praise Him in the heights above.
Praise Him, all His angels,
praise Him, all you shining stars.
Praise Him, you highest heavens
and you waters above the skies.
Let them praise the name of the LORD,
for He commanded and they were created.
He set them in place for ever and ever;
He gave a decree that will never pass away."

Dear Heavenly Father, how do we even begin to give You the praise You deserve. There are days that You just take my breath away and I find myself gasping for the words to express the awe that I feel towards You. I can barely understand why You would even think of me in the first place, and yet You made me apart of Your glorious creation and purposed me as a participant in Your wondrous love story. It is all too much to comprehend at times. I am so grateful that Your Word is full of so many amazing words of praise that I can use to express my gratitude towards You. I will praise You, O Lord, with all my heart. Each day that I mediate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty I am overcome with wonder and awe. O Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! I praise You that You have allowed me to be a brush stroke in Your beautiful masterpiece. You have done glorious and wonderful things; we are eyewitnesses to Your majesty every day. Forgive us for being so busy and distracted that we miss out on these wonderful presentations of Your artistry. Help us to pause each day to take notice of Your works and give You the praise You deserve. May the whole earth take notice of the works of Your hands, Lord, and sing the glorious praise that is due Your name. Sing to the LORD, praise His name. Shout with joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of His name; make His praise glorious! In Jesus', wonderful and exalted, Name. Amen.
