Pre-Order the New Harry Potter Book
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child As I'm sure you've all heard by now, there's going to be a new Harry Potter book! Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - Parts 1 & 2 is a new story that takes place nineteen years after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The book is the script of a new play -- the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage -- that will premiere in London's West End on July 30th. It's based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany.

It was always difficult being Harry Potter, and it isn't much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children. While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child releases on July 31st, but you can pre-order your copy today!

Consequence Consequence: A Memoir by Eric Fair
By the time Eric Fair leaves Iraq after his first deployment, he will have participated in or witnessed a variety of aggressive interrogation techniques including sleep deprivation, stress positions, diet manipulation, exposure, and isolation. Years later, his health and marriage crumbling, haunted by the role he played in what we now know as "enhanced interrogation," it is Fair's desire to speak out that becomes a key to his survival. Spare and haunting, Eric Fair's memoir is both a brave, unrelenting confession and a book that questions the very depths of who he, and we as a country, have become.

Rise of the Rocket Girls Rise of the Rocket Girls: The Women Who Propelled Us, from Missiles to the Moon to Mars by Nathalia Holt
In the 1940s and 50s, when the newly minted Jet Propulsion Laboratory needed quick-thinking mathematicians to calculate velocities and plot trajectories, they recruited an elite group of young women who, with only pencil, paper, and mathematical prowess, transformed rocket design, helped bring about the first American satellites, and made the exploration of the solar system possible. This book tells the stories of these "human computers" who broke the boundaries of both gender and science. Based on extensive research and interviews with all the living members of the team, it offers a unique perspective on the role of women in science, both past and future.

The 14th Colony The 14th Colony by Steve Berry
Inauguration Day -- noon on January 20th -- is only hours away. A flaw in the Constitution, and an even more flawed presidential succession act, have opened the door to disaster, and ex-KGB Soviet loyalist Aleksandr Zorin intends to exploit both weaknesses to their fullest. He's aided by a shocking secret hidden in the archives of America's oldest fraternal organization, a group that once lent out its military savvy to presidents, including helping to formulate three invasion plans of what was intended to be America's 14th colony -- Canada. In a race against the clock that starts in the frozen extremes of Russia and ultimately ends at the White House itself, Cotton Malone must not only battle Zorin, he must also confront a crippling fear that he's long denied, but which now jeopardizes everything.
