Are We There Yet_ We are excited to be bringing Caldecott-Award winning illustrator and author Dan Santat to the Upstate on April 14, 2016, for his new picture book Are We There Yet? so save the date! Dan won the Caldecott for the Adventures of Beekle and is also known as the illustrator for the Ricky Ricotta books by Dav Pilkey. 

We need your help, though, to help finalize the event. We are still looking for one more elementary school wanting to host him that afternoon. If your school would be interested, please just reply and let me know so I can send you the requirements for the event. 
 
We will also have a public event with him that evening, either at the store or another venue. If you know of a venue with A/V capabilities that would be interested in partnering with us, let us know that as well.

A new young adult book festival called Read Up is coming to the Peace Center in downtown Greenville! The first festival will be this summer, on August 6th.
