A Night Divided
What if you were held hostage by your own city? On Sunday, August 13, 1961, East Berlin was closed off from the rest of the free world, separating families, and holding all the citizens of East Berlin hostage in their own town for the next 28 years. If you lived in East Berlin, your only choice was to accept your lot in life, or risk death in an attempt to flee to the West. For Gerta and her family, there was only one option. A Night Divided is a story of courage and the undying human spirit that will leave you with a since of awe and reverence of those who lived behind the Iron Curtain.
