ladies' night In Mary Kay Andrews' Ladies' Night, Grace Stanton is enjoying life as a rising media star and beloved lifestyle blogger, living in a wealthy gated community and married to Ben Stanton, a former advertising executive who now successfully manages her lucrative blog, Gracenotes.  Grace's life takes a surprise turn when she catches him in a compromising position with her assistant in his pricey Audi Spyder RX convertible in the middle of the night. Shocked beyond words, she torpedoes Ben's beloved sports car straight into the family swimming pool. Suddenly, Grace finds herself locked out of her palatial home, her checking account, and even the blog she has worked so hard to develop in her own signature style.

After moving in with her widowed mother, Rochelle, who owns a beach bar called The Sandbox, Grace reluctantly attends weekly divorce therapy sessions with a group of people whose reactions to their own spouse's betrayals landed them in court as well. But when their "divorce coach" starts to act suspiciously, they decide to start having their own "Ladies' Night" sessions at The Sandbox, and the unanticipated bonds that develop lead the members of the group to try and find closure in ways they never imagined. Readers will find themselves raising a glass and cheering these characters on.

The Time Between In Karen White's The Time Between, Eleanor Murray will always remember her childhood on Edisto Island, where her late father, a local shrimper, shared her passion for music. Now her memories of him are all that tempers the guilt she feels over the accident that put her sister in a wheelchair --and the feelings she harbors for her sister's husband.

To help support her sister, Eleanor works at a Charleston investment firm during the day, but at night she escapes into her music, playing piano at a neighborhood bar. Until the evening her enigmatic boss walks in and offers her a part-time job caring for his elderly aunt, Helena, back on Edisto. For Eleanor, it's a chance to revisit the place where she was her happiest --and to share her love of music with grieving Helena, whose sister recently died under mysterious circumstances.

An island lush with sweetgrass and salt marshes, Edisto has been a peaceful refuge for Helena, who escaped with her sister from war-torn Hungary in 1944. The sisters were well-known on the island, where they volunteered in their church and community. But now Eleanor will finally learn the truth about their past: secrets that will help heal her relationship with her own sister --and set Eleanor free....

The Last Original Wife

In The Last Original Wife, Dorothea Benton Frank spins an intoxicating tale of friendship and love that is as refreshing as a soothing breeze across a golden low-country marsh and as invigorating as a dip in cool, salty waters on a sizzling South Carolina summer day.

Leslie Anne Greene Carter is the last original wife among her husband's group of cronies. They've all traded in their first wives --the middle-aged women they long ago promised to love and cherish 'til death did them part -- for riper peaches: younger, blonder, more enhanced models.

Leslie is proud of her status and the longevity of her marriage. Sure the spark isn't quite as bright and sometimes takes a little longer to flame. And it wouldn't be too much to ask if her husband paid just an itty bit more attention to her desires. But there's something to be said for a comfortable and deeply familiar relationship.

Or at least she thinks so. Until the day, out golfing with her husband and his friends, she slips into a manhole. And nobody realizes that she's gone. That one misstep opens Leslie's eyes to the sham her perfect life has become. No longer will she be invisible. No longer will she accept being taken for granted.

With the healing powers of South Carolina's lush white beaches, candy-colored sunsets, and feisty and funny residents, Leslie is going to transform herself and reclaim the strong, vibrant, sexy woman she was meant to be.
