Beth Revis is the author of the NY Times Bestselling Across the       Universe series. The first book in the trilogy, Across the Universe (Razorbill, paperback, $9.99), is a "cunningly executed thriller" according to Booklist, and the second book, A Million Suns (Razorbill, hardcover, $17.99; paperback, $9.99), was hailed by the LA Times as "a fast-paced, action-packed follow-up." The final book of the trilogy, Shades of Earth (Razorbill, hardcover, $18.99), will be released on January 15, 2013. A former teacher, Beth lives in rural North Carolina with her husband and dog. Her goals include traveling around the world in 80 days, exploring the moon, and finding Narnia.

Morgan Rhodes' novel,  Falling Kingdoms (Razorbill, hardcover, $18.99), is the first novel in a high fantasy series in which an ensemble cast led by a princess-turned-queen sees their fortunes tangle together in times of war. Under the name of Michelle Rowen, she also writes paranormal romance and urban fantasy. She was the winner of the 2007 Holt Medallion for Best First Book and the 2009 Romantic Times Reviewers Choice award for Vampire Romance.

Morgan (Michelle) lives in Southern Ontario. About Falling Kingdoms, she writes, "I'm writing this for Razorbill under the pen name Morgan Rhodes - who looks just like me, but is a bit thinner.  It's pitched as a "Game of Thrones for teens," and I had a TON of fun writing it."

Fiona Paul has written Venom (the first book in the Secrets of the Eternal Rose series) (Philomel, hardcover, $17.99), where love, lust, murder, mayhem and high society converge in one thrilling debut. Beauty, romance, and mystery weave together in a novel that's as seductive and stunning as the city of Venice itself.

Fiona lives in St. Louis, MO where she managed to persuade fancy universities to award her degrees in psychology and nursing. Between her studies, she traveled around five continents and spent time living in Thailand and South Korea (which is probably why she finds the idea of wearing shoes in the house a little weird).

Elizabeth Richards' debut novel, Black City (Putnam, hardcover, $17.99), is described as "a dark and tender post-apocalyptic love story set in the aftermath of a bloody war."

Elizabeth  is an award-winning journalist who spent her early career reviewing video games for a living before making the bold (or crazy) move to become a travel writer and editor, specializing in cruise holidays, despite suffering from terrible sea sickness. More recently she worked as a website editor before deciding to pursue her dream of becoming an author. She now dedicates her time to writing fantasy books aimed at young adults.

Jessica Spotswood has received glowing reviews for her novel, Born Wicked (Speak, paperback, $9.99, on sale January 3, 2013) which has been described as a gorgeous, witchy, romantic fantasy by a debut author.  Romantic Times magazine says: The feminist undertones, the description of sumptuous dresses, the dangerous, secretive magic wielding: Born Wicked is like a sizzling, more fun version of The Witch of Blackbird Pond.

Jessica grew up in a tiny one-stoplight town in Pennsylvania, where she could be found swimming, playing clarinet, memorizing lines for the school play, or-most often-with her nose in a book. She's been writing since she was little but studied theater in college and grad school. Now she lives in Washington, D.C., with her brilliant playwright husband and a cuddly cat named Monkey.
