Book Signing for South Carolina Poet Danny Barbare
 Greenville, SC, October 25, 2012 - South Carolina poet Danny Barbare will be signing copies of his new poetry collection, Being a Janitor (paperback, $14.00), at Fiction Addiction on Thursday, November 15th, from 4-6pm.
In Being a Janitor, Danny Barbare writes about his daily activity of being a janitor. But it is not merely about the task at hand; it also includes advice and hints about life as a whole, unique to the poet's point of view.
About the author:
Danny P. Barbare works as a custodian at the YMCA in Simpsonville, South Carolina, a part of the Greenville Hospital System Y located nearby. He has been writing poetry for 31 years and has had over 500 poems published locally, nationally, and abroad. His poetry has won the Jim Gitting's Award twice at Greenville Technical College and once the Studio Gilchrist Award. He has worked with the late Poet Laureate Bennie Lee Sinclair and North Carolina's Poet Laureate Fred Chappel. He attends Greenville Technical College. He has two previous poetry collections, Family and Nature Poems.
