For direct care workers and their allies

After You Recover from Black Friday, Participate in #GivingTuesday

homecare This holiday season, we'll all spend some time thinking about what we are thankful for--and how we can give something to people who need and deserve our help. That's why Direct Care Alliance has joined #GivingTuesday, an exciting new initiative that makes it easy to step off the holiday shopping treadmill for a day and focus on giving to a worthy cause.

Donate to DCA on Tuesday, December 3, and help direct care workers advocate for better wages, benefits, training and working conditions, so they can improve the profession they love. After all, what better way to celebrate this holiday season than by giving something back to these workers, who give so much all year long?

Mark your calendar now to donate to DCA next Tuesday.

Thanks--and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Executive Director, Direct Care Alliance

P.S. You can help spread the word, too. Just share this email now with others who might be interested, and tell your Facebook friends about your donation after making it on Tuesday.
The Direct Care Alliance is the national advocacy voice of direct care workers in long-term care. We empower workers to speak out for better wages, benefits, respect, and working conditions, so more people can commit to direct care as a career. We also convene powerful allies nationwide to build consensus for change.
