Join Us to Celebrate Home Care Workers
and their Inclusion in FLSA

As you know, home care workers across the country won basic labor protections under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) this week.

Direct Care Alliance and our allies are hosting a celebration of home care workers and this major milestone, and you're invited.

Please join us on Monday--and invite your friends and coworkers.

Monday, September 23
12pm-2pm ET
Columbus Club of Union Station
50 Mass Avenue NE
Washington, DC

RSVP to jasmine@caringacrossgenerations.org

A note from your friends at DCA: We regret that many of the direct care worker leaders and others who worked hard to make this happen will be unable to travel to DC for this event. We'll miss you, but you'll be there in spirit, as we celebrate your hard work and accomplishments. And remember: This is just the first celebration of this awesome victory, not the only one!

Sponsored by Caring Across Generations, Direct Care Alliance, Hand in Hand: The Domestic Employers Association, the Institute for Policy Studies, National Employment Law Project, and PHI.

Direct Care Alliance is the national advocacy voice of direct care workers in long-term care. We empower workers to speak out for better wages, benefits, respect, and working conditions, so more people can commit to direct care as a career. We also convene powerful allies nationwide to build consensus for change.
