Join Us in Austin Tomorrow to Support Health Care for Texans!
Tomorrow morning, people from over 150 local, state and national organizations--including Direct Care Alliance (DCA)--will gather in Austin. Together, we will call on legislators and policymakers to expand Medicaid, the program that provides low-income individuals and families with crucial access to affordable health care, so more direct care workers and other Texans can have the health care they need.

Please join us!

Meet us at at 8am on March 5 for an advocacy training session and to pick up your DCA T-shirt in the Skyline Room on the 2nd floor of the Radisson Hotel & Suites - Austin Downtown: 111 East Cesar Chavez, Austin, TX 78701; Hotel phone number: 512.478.9611.

Or meet us in the Skyline room no later than 10 am. Together we'll join a march to the Capitol building, followed by a rally at the Capitol.

Whether you're a direct care worker, a consumer, an employer, or a concerned advocate, you can play an important role in telling the Texas legislature and other state leaders about the importance of Medicaid for the health and well-being of you and your fellow Texans.

We hope you will lend your voice and experience to this important and exciting
advocacy opportunity.

See you in Austin!
The Direct Care Alliance is the national advocacy voice of direct care workers in long-term care. We empower workers to speak out for better wages, benefits, respect, and working conditions, so more people can commit to direct care as a career. We also convene powerful allies nationwide to build consensus for change.
