From the PTA Presidents
|
We are just coming off our cloud after the overwhelming outpour of appreciation from the La Entrada staff last week during the Volunteer Appreciation event. Everyone did a phenomenal job making the PTA and all of the volunteers feel the love! We have about 80 families graduating from our District this year, most of whom gave countless hours to our school and community. To them we say thank you, farewell, and the next school is so lucky to have you!
We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Kim Kuczon. Kim was the Teacher Representative to the PTA this year. Her leadership, support, collaboration, and cheerleading were at the heart of everything the PTA did. At the end of the Appreciation event last week, Kim led the staff in creating a "tunnel of awesomeness" that each of the volunteers ran through.... it will go down in history as a favorite moment... we felt like we'd crossed the finish line of a marathon, with the crowd cheering us on.
And with that, we bid farewell... it has been an honor and immense pleasure being a part of the PTA board this year. We pass the reigns to the very capable MJ Crousore and Molly Drewes and the wonderful board members who are lined up for the 2015-16 school year!
Fond Adieu,
Sandie Timm & Ashley Banks
La Entrada PTA Co-Presidents

Please check for the various participating products. Every coupon is valuable and worth 10 cents. Please submit your box tops in a small ziplock bag with your child's full name and core teacher to the school office. There will be a cereal box there for collection.
