We desire to bring awareness, educational articles and comfort to our lost B'nai Anousim (children of the forced ones) who are awakening to their true lost Jewish roots all over the world! We also endeavor to be a strong support to Israel! In this issue you will find some of the history of The Chuetas of Spain, the Azorean Crypto Jews and some of our original music!
Our families have been scattered and been through much. We are praying for our restoration to Israel and the healing of the wounds of a historical trauma of over 500 years.

| The Lost Jews of the Azores |
 Novel brings Azorean Crypto-Jews to light...By Lurdes C. Da Silva
Author Gabe Galambos says that "as good as it is to find something, it's even better to find out something." So, for his latest book, "The Nation by the River," the Brookline resident traveled to the Azores, where he met with historians and academics, researched New World Crypto-Jews and the Inquisitions that led them there, and learned as much as he could about Azorean culture around Massachusetts. |

Seminar for Chuetas takes place in Palma de Mallorca...
Shavei Israel is continuing its series of "cultural conferences" for Chuetas in Palma de Mallorca. The most recent seminar took place on Thursday, October 17, with special guest speaker Kfir Shahar flying in from Israel. Shahar told the story of how he returned to Judaism and integrated into Israeli society. The talk was both informative and inspirational for other Chuetas considering return and aliyah.

The Lion Of Judah Roars song, is a prophetic message from the writings of Hosea. This is an original song that I wrote in honor of Eretz Israel. Ha Shem has a Covenant with his people that he will never break. We await our return as the lion roars from Zion! Baruch Ha Shem!
