Mah Nishmah?  How are you?  Shalom to you and yours.  We wanted to send Thanksgiving greetings and express our thankfulness to Ha Shem during this time of family gatherings in our great United States.  We also remember those in New York and New Jersey in their time of need.  We have much to be grateful for at Sephardim Hope International.  Ha Shem continues to lead the B'nai Anousim  in this vision of return to our true Jewish identities and culture.

After several years of preparation, the story of our Serrano family's lost Sephardic history has been completed.  However, this story encompasses the representation of thousands of our families and their journey of awakening from a history of oblivion and self imposed amnesia after over 500 years.

Many of our family and friends are needing our support in the land during this difficult time.  We are remembering those in shelters, those who have been traumatized, those who may have been injured, lost loved ones or property and especially the IDF who is serving that safety may prevail.  Pray for the wisdom of HaShem as Israel has negotiated a ceasefire to the violence in Gaza and that it will hold.

Psalm 121:3-5
He will not let your foot give way-
   your guardian will not slumber;
see, the guardian of Israel
   neither slumbers nor sleeps.
The Lord is your guardian,
   The Lord is your protection at your right hand.

Ha Shem is with us and he is our constant shield.  We will not fear, but will continue to hope in Adonai.
