Most Important Foods for a Vegetarian Diet !!!!

I have noticed recently that many of my clients have turned to a vegetarian life style simple to benefit their health. In past decades, becoming a vegetarian had become popular because of peoples passion against animal cruelty. Today, more and more people are choosing a non-meat diet or various versions based on science and what may keep us living longer. No matter what type of vegetarian you are, the following foods are a must in your diet for optimal health and wellness.
  • Low-fat or fat-free milk, yogurt and cheese
  • Fortified soy milk or rice milk
  • Fortified ready-to-eat cereals
  • Calcium-fortified juice
  • Calcium-set tofu
  • Leafy green vegetables
  • Broccoli
  • Beans
  • Almonds and almond butter
  • Sesame seeds and sesame butter (tahini)
  • Soybean nuts
  • Beans
  • Enriched breads, rice and pasta
  • Whole grains
  • Soy products
  • Nuts and nut butters
