 Simple Tips to Lose Those Extra Pounds!!!!

 
 

The summer countdown begins (June 21st) and who doesn't want to lose those extra pounds in the next 7 weeks. It is not too late. In fact, with these simply steps you are sure to be bathing suit ready by the time you hit the beach. DO NOT think diet. DO think, I am going to change up my eating plan and

incorporate these tips.

 

Pick a buddy for accountability and motivation ( or your PTI Nutritionist)

 

Keep a serious food diary and monitor your weight once a week

 

Put on a fit bit and log all your calories both in and out

 

Cut out all sugary drinks including juice and stick to at least 64 oz. of water a day

 

Eliminate all packaged foods and eat only fresh ingredients you've prepared. No bags, boxes, cans, or cartons allowed.

 

Fill two-thirds of your plate with vegetables, which have fewer calories and are more nutritious than any other type of food.

 

Have a healthy soup and salad at least 3x a week for dinner

 

Eating one grapefruit daily helped 58% of subjects lose weight more effectively, according to research.

 

Swear off high calorie desserts and replace them with fresh fruit

 

The short-term elimination of high carb foods like white bread, pasta, potatoes and pastries can efficiently kick-start your weight loss plan.

 

Don't skip meals or your healthy snacks. Being hungry will surely sabotage your plan.

 

Get a good night's sleep (at least 8.5 hours)

 

Eat your food as spicy as possible to speed up your metabolism

 

Get out of your sweat pants and put on some tight jeans, time to feel yourself getting full.

 

Walk as much as you can, 10,000 steps a day is the ultimate goal

 

By adding an exercise that burns up to 500 calories a day you can reach your weight loss goals even faster than you think. For Example A person weighing 180 lbs. can burn around 500 calories with an hour of energetic dancing, So have fun and dance those extra pounds away!!!
