2015 Superfoods!!! 
 
     

Welcome to the year 2015 and as always, PTI is here to assist you with all your New Year resolutions. The term superfood continues to be an important part of our nutrition vernacular and by adding these foods to your current meal plan you will continue your goal of optimal health and wellness. The following foods may help to improve immunity, blood pressure and liver detoxification.

 

Olive Leaf- May help to lower blood pressure and cholesterol.

Chlorella - Similar to green algae- Liver detoxification and healthy protein delivery

Sea Buckthorn Oil- Improving heart function and skin ailments.

Reishi- Excellent mushrooms for improving immunity

Fermented Foods- Kefir yogurt, kimchi, sauerkraut. Can help balance your gut.

Incaberries- High levels of bio-flavonoids and lots of vitamins

Organic Bone Broth- Great for sipping and reducing hunger

Kale Sprouts- A new veggie that was created by combining Kale and Brussel sprouts

Broccoleaf- The leaf of the broccoli plant, loaded with nutrients

Birch Water and Maple Water- This year's new coconut water

Broccoli Sprouts-High levels of nutrients and enzymes which can strengthen the immune system

Lucuma-A Peruvian fruit high in anti-oxidants

Gubinge- It is an Australian plum that reportedly has the highest natural levels of vitamin C on the planet

Inca peanuts- Contain omega fatty acids 3, 6 and 9

Skiing downhill for 10 minutes can help burn 100 calories!!!
