We all know that "starting a diet" is most likely on your New Years resolution list. It is on the list of the top five resolutions that people make each each year. Instead of thinking about dieting, think about how this year is about a healthier you and what you can do to get there. Here are ten ways to ease into the New Year with a clear head, clear goals and a new attitude toward food.

Forget the quick fix approach. 
Eat a healthy diet including lots of lean protein and 3 small snacks a day.

Get a buddy to help keep you in check.

Make grocery shopping fun and bring a list that you can stick to.

Eat foods that are high in Fiber.

Incorporate the super foods that we learned about all year.

Avoid foods that are high in calories and low in nutrients.

Be kind to yourself, even one pound a week adds up!!

Get Help!!! This may be the time to see your nutritionist every week for support.

 

To all of you at PTI, may 2015 be your year to take control of your health and remember, Nothing tastes as good as fit and healthy feels!!!
