                   Soups On !!!!! 

 

As the weather changes, and the air turns from warm to cold, soup is one of those foods that comforts us and fills us up in a healthy way. Soup does not only taste great but women who start their lunch with a bowl of soup eat 100 calories less over the course of the meal, on average. If you are not up for preparing soup, here is a list of the Healthiest soups on the supermarket shelves.

The requirements per serving that constitute healthy soups from the American Heart Association include less than 3 g of fat and 1 g of saturated fat -- or 5 g of fat and 2 g of saturated fat for meat products. Soups should contain less than 480 mg of sodium and at least 10 percent or more of vitamins A and C, calcium, protein and fiber.

 

A 130-lb woman could burn up to 236 calories during an hour-long leisurely bike ride!!! The more you weigh the more you burn.
