      How You Can Optimize Your Diet?

 
We all try to eat well and get all the nutrients we can from the food we consume. In order to really optimize your intake, try what we call functional foods. These are foods that  provide health benefits beyond their basic nutrition through photochemical' s and antioxidants. Here are ten to get you started!!!! 
Oats, including whole oats and oatmeal 
Fatty fish, such as salmon, tuna, halibut and trout

Soy lowers cholesterol levels and reduces heart disease risk

Cranberry juice reduces risk of urinary tract infections

Tomato products
Black and Green tea
Nuts, such as walnuts, almonds, pecans
Leafy greens, such as spinach, kale, broccoli and sprouts

Garlic
Low-fat yogurt

A 150 pound woman can burn up to 100 calories playing miniature golf for 30 minutes!!! How much fun is that!!!
