Healthy Sweet Tooth Alternatives      

Who out there doesn't love sweets? It is the one thing that most people crave when they are watching their caloric intake. It is also the most common culprit of sabotaging our efforts to eat within our calorie budget. If you don't feel deprived then you won't over eat. Here are some healthy choices that will curb your sweet tooth without the guilt.

 

Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries- using melted dark chocolate

Yogurt Parfait- use Greek yogurt and fresh fruit

Frozen Chocolate Banana- roll in dark chocolate and crushed nuts

All fruit Ice Pops

Half of an almond butter and jam sandwich on whole grain bread

Fresh fruit Smoothie made with almond milk and ice

Quest cookies and cream bar

Vans waffle with a tsp of Nutella

Piece of Dark Chocolate

A pretzel rod rolled in peanut butter and raisins

Hot Chocolate made with skim milk

Chocolate Chip Vita Muffin

Acai bowl made with fresh fruit

Cottage cheese and fresh fruit drizzled with honey

Fruit leather
