 Have a Happy Healthy Halloween
It is probably safe to say that Halloween is one of the most anticipated holidays for children every year. Can you think of any other Holiday where we get to dress up in fun costumes and fill a bag with tons of candy? It can also be very confusing for parents who are trying to teach their children about good nutrition and not eating too much sugar in order to stay healthy. So, what is a parent to do.I suggest looking at this one of two ways. It is just one night and let your kids have fun and enjoy. Let them pick their favorite candy from what they collected and give away the rest. The other solution is to

do your sweet shopping at health-food stores, and introduce your neighborhood to a new way of getting your sweets and feeling good about it.. Here are some sweet ideas:

Organic lollipops

Justins nut butter candies

Newmans Own Organic Candy

Sun cups ( nut free and gluten free)

Cliff Kid organic fruit rope

Annie's organic fruit snacks

Organic Classic Fruiti Bears Gummies

Yogurt or carob covered raisins

Yummy earth sour beans

Whole Wheat Pretzels
Figamajigs

CoCoaVia Blueberry and Almond Chocolate Bars
Florida's Natural Pocket Fruit-to-Go Stiks

Angel Mints

If shopping organic is too difficult, these are other healthier choices for Halloween :Peanut M&M's Fun Size Pouch, Tootsie Roll Midgees,3 Musketeers Minis and York Peppermint Patty s.
