Help Beat Those Night Time Cravings 
Can you be found in the kitchen late at night with a bag of potato chips or bowl of ice cream? If you answered yes, you're not alone. Many people have a hard time fighting off late night cravings. Your body's appetite tends to be lowest at  8 am and highest at 8pm, making you susceptible to nighttime eating. In addition to this being peak appetite time, your body craves sweet and salty foods around this time as well. Here are some strategies to help combat your late night binges.
-As we recommend, eat throughout the day. People who eat a bigger meal in the morning rather than at night tend to lose more weight.
-When the refrigerator is calling your name, investigate other options like taking a walk or reading a book.
-Try going to sleep earlier, when you are tired it is much harder to make smart food choices.
-Don't mindlessly eat: Avoid eating in front of the TV. You may miss the cues that you are full and eat extra calories.

-If you need a snack, keep it light :try hummus. It's got the perfect balance of protein, fiber, and healthy fat; it'll fill you up; and it's loaded with L-tryptophan, the sleep-inducing amino acid.

-Eat a fiber rich evening meal that contains plenty of non starchy vegetables, and drink plenty of water throughout the day as well.

- Plan ahead. Put out your snack in the morning, and make sure it is healthy and portion controlled. This way you do not have to think about it. 

Most Importantly,The best way to avoid eating sugary, fatty snacks is not to bring them home. If you only have healthy snacks in the house, you'll be forced to eat only healthy snacks. 

 

Play some pool, and burn approximately 100 calories in 35 minutes!!!
