Foods that Help you Heal!!!
Healing from an injury is not just about rest, but the consumption of a nutrient rich diet may also aid in speeding up the process of healing. Here are four nutrients we recommend and why they are important:
1.Vitamin C helps your body form collagen, which repairs tendons, ligaments, and bone!
It is found in the following fruits and vegetables;

Citrus fruits, kiwi, cantaloupe, mango, strawberries, raspberries, broccoli, tomatoes, spinach, and peppers.

2.Vitamin A is important for cell growth and bone development.

It is found in the following:

Mango, kale, carrots, peas, eggs, and sweet potatoes.
3.Zinc is important for wound healing and the immune system.
It is found in the following:

Red meats, poultry, beans, nuts, and fortified breakfast cereals.

4.Protein is used in muscle formation, for skin health, and for immune system function.
It is found in the following:
Animal meat (contains all the essential amino acids), dairy products, eggs, beans, quinoa, amaranth, and chia seeds.
