An Egg a Day may Help Keep the Doctor Away

Good news for egg lovers, the American Heart Association now says one egg a day for healthy adults is just fine! Although it was once believed that the high cholesterol levels in egg yolks was causing high blood cholesterol levels, it is now known that saturated fat is what effects blood cholesterol levels more... and eggs (especially the yolks) are packed with nutrients!

What are four beneficial nutrients found in eggs?

Choline: Choline reduces inflammation, lowering  your risk for developing certain cancers, and  may help protect your memory!

Protein: There are 6 grams of protein packed into one large egg, making it a great and filling breakfast choice.
Lutein and Zeaxanthin:These two antioxidants help protect your eyes from macular degeneration!
Selenium :This nutrient can help protect your immune system.

Studies show that eating an egg for breakfast instead of a carb such as a bagel can help with weight loss because they are packed with 6 grams of protein each, keeping you full and satisfied longer! So go ahead and add one whole egg to your egg white breakfast and enjoy not just the taste the all the benefits as well!!!!
