 How to get Ready for a Healthy day at the Beach

You worked so hard all year to get bathing suit ready. Rather than succumb to the temptations of the beach hut food,prepare ahead and have a healthy beach day. 

 1. Make sure you have a cooler to pack your food for the day

 2.Freeze bottles of water the night before for cold water throughout the day

 3. Freeze fruit like grapes, blueberries and strawberries 

 4. Make sandwiches using whole wheat wraps so they won't get soggy

 5. Use lean meats on the wraps and keep lettuce and tomatoes separate 

 6. Freeze Greek yogurt and it will thaw to perfection

 7. Bring coconut water to hydrate

 8. For something sweet, pack organic dark chocolate  

 9. Cut, chop and pre-wash vegetables like red, yellow and green pepper sticks,   cherry tomatoes, celery, and sugar snap peas.

10. For the kids, pack 100 calorie snack bags

Make sure you lather on the sunscreen and have a great beach day!!!!!
