Healthy Tips While Traveling
It is the time of year where lots of folks are getting into the car for weekend trips. It is not always easy to eat well while traveling. Here are some tips for helping you keep healthy on the road.

1. Start your trip with a hearty healthy breakfast like oatmeal.
2. Pack a cooler with lots of fresh fruits and cut up veggies.
3. Bring healthy 100 calorie snacks to munch on as well as healthy energy bars and dried fruit and nuts
4.Go to a deli rather than a fast food restaurant and order a healthy sandwich rather than a greasy burger or hot dog.
5 Avoid buying fruit juice and soda at rest stops. Have bottles of water with you to really quench your thirst.
6. If you just can't avoid the fast food rest stop, order a salad or grilled sandwich.
