Plug holes, seal cracks, conserve energy
|
|
Whether you're running your air conditioner and want to keep the hot air outdoors or heating your home and want the hot air to stay indoors, the key is to seal the leaks on your home's exterior walls.
Just because a hole in the wall is miniscule doesn't mean it can't send your energy bill soaring.
So, look for even the smallest cracks and holes and seal them with caulk or weather-stripping.
The most thorough hunts for air leaks, of course, can be done by those working in the power industry.
Call CHELCO's Marketing Department at 850-892-5069, Ext. 120 or send an email to marketing@chelco.com for information about energy audits.
