The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) works for consumers to prevent fraudulent, deceptive, and unfair business practices.  In late January 2013, the FTC and the states of Illinois, Kentucky, and North Carolina together petitioned a federal court to obtain an injunction to cease the business of Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing (FHTM), a network marketing company.  Find out why they did this in our second article.
