Maine Outdoor Enthusiast!

Maine Kayak has teamed up with Colonial Pemaquid State Historic Site in New Harbor, Maine to offer a Great Maine Outdoor Weekend Event. This guided interpretive sea kayaking trip will start with a brief introduction to kayaking and then we will paddle the shorelines of Colonial Pemaquid, learning local history and lore from knowledgeable Bureau of Parks and Lands staff.

Historic Pemaquid Paddle with Maine Kayak - Enjoy the cultural and natural heritage of Pemaquid Peninsula from a unique perspective. Discover one of the earliest English settlements in Maine on this interpretive tour; learn about the rich history of the native and European settlers of the area, ongoing archaeological discoveries and even a little pirate lore. We provide on water instruction, combining a leisurely paddle with rich storytelling that only park staff can provide. Your trip includes same-day admission to Colonial Pemaquid State Historic Site to explore at your leisure.
