Katahdin Vertical troublemaker shot

The Penobscot River is the most challenging river in Maine and one of the best in the United States. You will experience more technical rapids, exposed rocks, steeper gradients and awesome whitewater.

The river is set in the shadow of mile high Mt. Katahdin and on the perimeter of Baxter State Park. Eagle, osprey, moose and bear sightings are bot uncommon, while the river abounds with salmon and trout.
